Tarentella and Nutcracker Camp

Class / Camp Description

In this ballet and contemporary dance camp we will work on Tarentella choreography that features fun use of the tambourine! In addition, each day of the workshop dancers will hone their technique with the elegant art of French and Russian classical ballet that builds the basis for beautiful hands, arms and head movements, big jumps and multiple turns. Included daily are ballet classes, jazz or contemporary dance, and coaching in classical choreography. The camp includes a TALENT SHOW where you can perform or help in production. The camp culminates in a final performance that will feature Tarentella, and choreography such as the Doll, Russian or Chinese Dance, and the Little Clara solo from the annual Clara & the Nutcracker at the Cannon Center. This camp provides preparation for the big December performance! Cancelation Policy

75% refund is given if a student withdraws within 24 hours prior to a second class during the Spring and Fall Semester. No refunds will be given after the second class except in the case of a physician-verified illness. No refunds are given for COVID closure. In the event of COVID closure we offer excellent online class or camp. No refunds for Summer camps / classes unless requested three weeks prior to the camp / class start date. At that time a 75% refund will be granted. There is no pro-rating and no makeup classes. Tuition is not transferable to another session. Students cannot attend class until full payment is made. There is a $30 fee for cancelled checks. CBT reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather conditions or teacher illness. In the event of a weather condition, you will receive an email. Please check your email. There are no makeup classes for inclement weather conditions.
