Summer Time Workshops

One of our workshop camps for rising Level 2-8 is required to prepare for auditions and choreography for the Nutcracker. If you are new to the production and missed the workshop, please contact us at info@balletchildren.com

September is the Mandatory Costume fitting and Meeting with parents. We need your publicity help! Please post titles with your photos on social media: "Susie is having a fitting for Clara & the Nutcracker at the Cannon!" Also find us on IG childrens.ballet.theater and send us your cutest shots!

$95 Nutcracker fee is due at the time of costume fitting and meeting, by check payable to our non-profit "Tennessee Ballet Theater". Ticket sales cover only a small portion of expenses for this professional production. Your fee helps support the presentation of the Nutcracker each year at a quality venue, and helps cover costs of student rehearsals at the theater, a large technical staff and chaperones, administrative, gorgeous costumes, costume mistress, and more.

We need your ideas! We have started fundraising efforts for this season. If you would like to donate or know companies that would like more information on sponsorship opportunities, please contact us. These opportunities include free tickets, program ads, and social media mentions. We are in need of donations for lighting, scenery, seamstress work/costumes, TBT professional dancer fees including the Prince and Drosselmeyer, and more.

Rehearsals: MANDATORY rehearsals are held during class times starting in August, along with MANDATORY FULL CAST PRACTICES which include the first three Saturdays in November at the CBT home studio. SK-1st and Level 1 will only attend one of these Saturdays.  There are MANDATORY STAGE rehearsals. Schedule goes out in September.

Tickets go on sale in September. Ticket sales help support this amazing professional performance so please encourage family and friends to come see this beautiful production and make it a family holiday tradition! Your IG and FB posts of Nutcracker tickets sale announcements, costume fittings, rehearsals, and more help us make this event a success for our young performers!
