Performance Opportunity in Clara & the Nutcracker! Children's Ballet Theater in East Memphis students and parents alike remark on the uplifting atmosphere of the school, the excellent training, and the encouraging professional faculty. Kindness and support by peers is encouraged and many have said they developed life-long friends at the dance studio. Children’s Ballet Theater offers training in the beautiful French and Russian traditions of classical ballet. Dancers in SK-12th grade will learn Nutcracker show choreography. Each student is welcome to participate in Clara & the Nutcracker at the Rose Theater, presented by Tennessee Ballet Theater.. In the spring, students perform in a grand “CBT Spring Recital” onstage featuring ballet themes such as Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, and Swan Lake! Choreography for Recital is included during class. Please visit the Performance page for more information. The beginning of November, please send an email to Ms. Mary at info@balletchildren.com for an evaluation. Registration Deadline for current students was August 10th an automatic $50 late registration fee has been applied.

Cancellation Policy
75% minus any credit card processing fee refund is given if a student withdraws within 24 hours prior to a second class during the Spring and Fall Semester. No refunds will be given after the second class except in the case of a physician-verified illness. No refunds are given for COVID closure. In the event of COVID closure we offer excellent online class or camp. No refunds for Summer camps / classes unless requested three weeks prior to the camp / class start date. At that time a 75% minus any credit card processing fee refund will be granted. There is no pro-rating and no makeup classes. Tuition is not transferable to another session. Students cannot attend class until full payment is made. There is a $35 fee for cancelled checks. CBT reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather conditions or teacher illness. In the event of a weather condition, you will receive an email. Please check your email. There are no makeup classes for inclement weather conditions.
