Class / Camp Description
Learn how to make dancing and performing in a musical theater show a breeze with these basic and fun techniques! In this summer camp, we will learn basics of musical theater style jazz and tap, and also practice how to sing while dancing. On the last day we will put on a dance show in the studio for parents performing two scenes from Snow White, at 11:30 am on Friday in the studio! Bring a water bottle, towel and snack, shorts and tennis shoes or for outside break. Attire: Yoga or jazz pants, tshirt or leotard, and ballet or jazz dance shoes, tap shoes. Costumes will be provided by MYMT but dancers may need leggings, t-shirts, etc. from home. * Rising 9th & 10th graders can work as an intern, receive free tuition, and performance opportunity. Cancellation Policy
75% refund is given if a student withdraws within 24 hours prior to a second class during the Spring and Fall Semester. No refunds will be given after the second class except in the case of a physician-verified illness. No refunds are given for COVID closure. In the event of COVID closure we offer excellent online class or camp. No refunds for Summer camps / classes unless requested three weeks prior to the camp / class start date. At that time a 75% refund will be granted. There is no pro-rating and no makeup classes. Tuition is not transferable to another session. Students cannot attend class until full payment is made. There is a $30 fee for cancelled checks. CBT reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather conditions or teacher illness. In the event of a weather condition, you will receive an email. Please check your email. There are no makeup classes for inclement weather conditions.
