Class / Camp Description
Pre-ballet & Tap class for boys & girls at Children’s Ballet Theater offers children a warm, encouraging and fun atmosphere with our beautiful traditions of Russian and French classical ballet. Each class includes pre-ballet, tap, creative movement, fun with ballet props, and choreography . Students will learn dances set to classical ballet music as well as kids’ ballet songs. This spring semester’s theme is Snow White! Each semester and new year the syllabus is changed to insure that students have new material. Mom or dad are invited into the studio room the first day until your child is comfortable, and thereafter there is an observation window. PKJK students have a parent demo of classwork at the end of fall semester and an in-studio CBT Recital in the spring. PKJK students coming to see our Clara & the Nutcracker show at the Cannon Center are invited to present flowers to Clara and the Sugar Plum! Classes that offer tap dance are ¼ of class time. Cancellation Policy
75% refund is given if a student withdraws within 24 hours prior to a second class during the Spring and Fall Semester. No refunds will be given after the second class except in the case of a physician-verified illness. No refunds are given for COVID closure. In the event of COVID closure we offer excellent online class or camp. No refunds for Summer camps / classes unless requested three weeks prior to the camp / class start date. At that time a 75% refund will be granted. There is no pro-rating and no makeup classes. Tuition is not transferable to another session. Students cannot attend class until full payment is made. There is a $30 fee for cancelled checks. CBT reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather conditions or teacher illness. In the event of a weather condition, you will receive an email. Please check your email. There are no makeup classes for inclement weather conditions.
