Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence, and special powers! Dive into the world of musical theater by performing in "Matilda” JR (MTI NYC) based on everyone’s favorite Roald Dahl book! Everyone is cast in a role or in the ensemble numbers. Memphis Youth Musical Theater offers the veteran as well as the novice exciting workshops with performance where you'll learn acting, choreography, and vocals. The workshop will culminate in two performances for family and friends. Attire: casual attire, and black jazz shoes. Costumes are provided, but parents may be asked to send in items such as shirts, shoes or leggings and performers should wear a tank top undershirt for show day. Instructors will help everyone prep for auditions which are held on the second day of the workshop. Performances Monday, November 10th and Wednesday, November 12th

Cancellation Policy
75% minus any credit card processing fee refund is given if a student withdraws within 24 hours prior to a second class during the Spring and Fall Semester. No refunds will be given after the second class except in the case of a physician-verified illness. No refunds are given for COVID closure. In the event of COVID closure we offer excellent online class or camp. No refunds for Summer camps / classes unless requested three weeks prior to the camp / class start date. At that time a 75% minus any credit card processing fee refund will be granted. There is no pro-rating and no makeup classes. Tuition is not transferable to another session. Students cannot attend class until full payment is made. There is a $35 fee for cancelled checks. CBT reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather conditions or teacher illness. In the event of a weather condition, you will receive an email. Please check your email. There are no makeup classes for inclement weather conditions.
