Level 1 Ballet & Tap ( Saturdays )

Class / Camp Description

This beginner level class for boys & girls teaches the unique and beautiful traditions of Russian and French classical ballet in a warm and encouraging atmosphere. At this level students progress to learn ballet technique at the barre and center floor, creative movement, and fun with ballet props. This class includes tap dance. Students also learn dances set to classical ballet music. This semester we will work on dances from "Rapunzel". Each semester and new year the syllabus is changed to insure that students returning to their same age group have new material. Please visit our Information/Dress code page for details on attire (including tap shoes). * Recital fee is $65 due in February for students who want to participate.

Cancellation Policy

75% refund is given if a student withdraws within 24 hours prior to a second class during the Spring and Fall Semester. No refunds will be given after the second class except in the case of a physician-verified illness. No refunds are given for COVID closure. In the event of COVID closure we offer excellent online class or camp. No refunds for Summer camps / classes unless requested three weeks prior to the camp / class start date. At that time a 75% refund will be granted. There is no pro-rating and no makeup classes. Tuition is not transferable to another session. Students cannot attend class until full payment is made. There is a $30 fee for cancelled checks. CBT reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather conditions or teacher illness. In the event of a weather condition, you will receive an email. Please check your email. There are no makeup classes for inclement weather conditions.
